Mannina will be responsible for the acquisition, growth and expansion of new clients to the Curion roster. She has almost 10 years of account management experience in sales and marketing within the market research industry. Most recently, she worked at Mintel and served as a Senior Account Manager of CPG Sales. There she managed a portfolio consisting of top CPG manufacturers and suppliers in the food and beauty sectors while also growing the portfolio via product upgrades, or engaging clients in Mintel Consultancy & Mintel Services. Prior to Mintel, she was with HelloWorld (formerly ePrize), where she partnered with top CPG and retail accounts to develop and implement thoughtful digital campaigns to support client specific marketing initiatives.

Throughout the course of his career, Garibaldi has served as a senior financial operations executive with vast experience in categories such as B-to-B services, recruiting/staffing, technology and consumer packaged goods.

In his new role, Garibaldi reunites with Curion CEO Sean Bisceglia. Together, the two have an established track record. From 2003-2005, they grew talent recruiter CPRI from $4M to $32M, after which it was acquired by Aquent, one of the largest creative staffing firms in the U.S. They teamed up again at TalentDrive, the first and leading online resume search aggregator where they grew revenues from de novo to $6M and led the integration with Boston based TRI Ventures.

QUESTION: What is your preferred method of marketing to your audience?

ANSWER: Our panelists serve as our “supply” of consumer insights. We attract consumer panelists via social media and shopper marketplaces. Our CPG clients are referred to Curion through word-of-mouth referrals.

Chicagoland Food and Beverage Network (CFBN) continues to grow fast, bringing together the region’s premier food and beverage companies for networking, education, and collaboration. Launching in 2017, with the mission of driving regional economic growth, CFBN now boasts more than 70 corporate members and over 150 individual members.

Seasoned Executive Joins Leader in Sensory Evaluation Research

CHICAGO, IL—NOVEMBER 14, 2018—Curion, a leader in sensory and consumer product research, announced the appointment of Sean B. Bisceglia as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Previous to Curion, Mr. Bisceglia held the Chief Executive Officer role in four previous companies over his 25 year business career.

Mr. Bisceglia’s business success began 25 years ago when he founded TFA, a technology-focused ad agency that achieved significant success. TFA was sold to Leo Burnett in 1998. After TFA, Mr. Bisceglia partnered with William Blair Ventures to acquire Corporate Project Resources, Inc (“CPRi”) where he doubled revenues in less than 2 years. In 2007, Mr. Bisceglia founded TalentDrive, where he formed one of the first technology-enabled staffing businesses in the industry. In 2013, Mr. Bisceglia founded and became CEO of Scout Exchange, a platform for marketplace recruiting that serves Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Bisceglia served as an Operating Partner at Sterling Partners.
