Biography

Lauren is a Research and Development Leader with 10+ years of experience and a proven background in B2B and B2C innovation within the food industry, leveraging expertise in team-building and leadership to drive all stages of exploration, innovation, product development, commercialization and launch.  At Impossible Foods, she served as an integral member of the R&D Leadership team, building and leading the Sensory & Perceptual Research team of 15.  Lauren focused on developing strategy and innovation, defining goals, and implementing organizational-wide initiatives to deliver new ingredient discoveries and process improvements, achieving the highest level of efficiency and quality of new products. Her time at Kellogg’s and Givaudan Flavors provides a well-rounded and global perspective of innovation and insights.

Lauren is passionate about perceptual testing and the impact of well-designed research to influence decision making and mitigate risk. Among her publications, she was the primary author on the first paper investigating and applying the CATA method to sensory testing, which has inspired a new genre of sensory research.

She looks forward to applying her technical expertise and creativity to collaborate with clients across the CPG space.
